Comments on the artwork

This piece depicts an albino doberman shackled and forcefully trying to break free from its restraints. While being bound and breaking free from bindings is a common theme throughout the artwork, this takes an alternative meaning once you take notice of where exactly the limb-splitting gore is taking place and the sameness of the shackles and now displaced body parts. This lends to the idea of dealing with imprisonment in the wrong way, only worsening your current conditions and still being bound by your shackles all the same. With cutesy uses of pinks and reds, oversimplified anatomy and intimate placement, this artwork makes such an intense struggle come across with a sense of longing and adoration.
